Family of 5 Passes Away from Carbon Monoxide Poisoning

This week, a heartbreaking incident in Clay Township, Ohio, claimed the lives of a family of 5 due to suspected carbon monoxide poisoning. The victims consisted of 2 adults and 3 children, and where found dead inside their home on April 15th, 2025.

Upon arrival at the scene, it was quickly determined that the individuals were deceased by the first responders. Our thoughts are with the family and their loved ones.

Carbon monoxide is invisible, odorless, and lethal—and the risk doesn’t end with the victims. It puts First Responders in danger during every response to a possible gas emergency.
